People who are working in unhealthy workplaces tend to be unhappy and frustrated. People like working in clean and healthy work environments because they feel that they look forward to going to work each day. People who are working in unsanitary work environments face issues such as poor health due to poor hygiene.
The fourth form of motivation is to maintain strong employee satisfaction. In today’s workforce employee satisfaction is very high as a result of many forms of technological advancements. An employee can easily disconnect from the workplace if they are not happy. If the employee is unhappy they may not be willing to go and may not be able to stay with the organization if they are not happy. Employee satisfaction is based on the satisfaction, the employee has for his or her job and the employer.
The fifth most common motivation factor is money. Many employees who are under stress and workload pressures at work have financial problems which cause them to look for other places to live. This is also a form of financial motivators. An employee may need more money in order to pay for the excess of work and household responsibilities he or she has. It is important to ensure that these employees find other means of solving their financial problems than leaving the company.
The six common motivators discussed above are all important in creating an environment that is productive and highly successful. Although employees are human, it is important to understand their needs and feelings so that they can use motivation effectively in the workplace. The best way to motivate employees is to understand their motivation factors and apply them accordingly.
